Nagpur, September 29, 2025: Global Indian International School (GIIS), Lava, Nagpur, successfully hosted the Taluka Level School Kabaddi Tournament 2025, bringing together over 300 students from more than 25 schools across the taluka for two days of spirited competition. Organised under the aegis of the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services, Maharashtra, in collaboration with the District Sports Council and the District Sports Officer’s Office, Nagpur, the tournament highlighted the growing enthusiasm for indigenous sports among today’s youth. The event was supervised locally by Mr. Umesh Chaure, Taluka District Sports Officer. Teams competed in three age groups—Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19—for both boys and girls, following a league-cum-knockout format that ensured fair play and equal opportunity.
